To really inspire innovation, change, and sustained improvement, you need the engagement of your team – they do the work and they know best how to improve your processes. John Alberts, Executive Director of Educational Services at Austin Public Schools - Speaker

The Performance Excellence Network is pleased to welcome John Alberts, Executive Director of Educational Services at Austin Public Schools, to our July 10 Rochester PEN breakfast discussion: “Using Crowdsourced Innovation to Spark Change.”

John will share how APS used a crowdsourced innovation effort to hear ideas for improvement from staff and ultimately take ideas through the human-centered design process and ultimately microtesting.

The discussion is at Woodlake Meeting Center, Rochester MN (details provided after registration). Continental breakfast will be served from 7:15 to 7:45 with announcements at 7:45 and the presentation from 8:00 to 9:00 am.  No cost for members; $30 for non-members.

Livestreaming (free) and video-on-demand ($20 for members) are now also available (discounted annual subscriptions are available and Premium/Sponsoring Members are free).

Note that PEN is hosting a full-day “Principles of Excellence: Baldrige 101” workshop immediately following (9:15-5:00), so stay for a powerful day of learning!
