The imperative to create partnerships in today’s challenging world is important for any organizations. But in health and human services-related organizations that serve our communities’ most vulnerable adults, it’s critical. Two organizations, Allina Health and the Metropolitan Alliance of Connected Communities (MACC), are exploring the impact that Community Based Organizations and Health systems – when partnered together – can have on the well-being and affordability of healthcare. The complexities and challenges of these systems, funding, and capacity all offer opportunities for organizations to bring innovative solutions to this problem. And these insights could translate to other industries and situations. Facilitator Ellie Zuelke, Allina, and Shane Miller, MACC

The Performance Excellence Network is pleased to welcome Ellie Zuelke, Director of Community Benefit and Engagement for Allina Health, and Shane Miller, Vice President of Service Network Operations for MACC, to our November 1 Minneapolis PEN breakfast discussion: “Power of Partnership: How Allina Health & MACC are Addressing Community Challenges.”

Ellie and Shane will introduce their perspectives in the challenges and opportunities that impact community health.  They will also listen to your perspective and hope to understand other initiatives that your organization might be involved in.  Please join us to contribute to the fascinating dialogue about the power of partnerships and collaborative problem solving.

The discussion is Nov 1 at Minneapolis Community and Technical College, downtown Minneapolis, in room L3000 (details provided after registration). Continental breakfast will be served from 7:30 to 8:00 with the presentation from 8:00 to 9:00 am.  No cost for PEN members; $30 for non-member guests.
