Leading with Courage -- Mar 5 Bloomington Workshop

Registration is closed for this event
Research shows that 40%-50% of leaders fail, quit, or are pushed out within the first 18 months in their roles -- effectively leading others is difficult!  For leaders to be successful in today’s rapidly changing business environment, there are nine behaviors they need to adopt and practice -- to make a bigger impact, sooner with their teams.  Facilitator Lee Eisenstaedt of Chicago-based Leading with Courage Academy

The Performance Excellence Network is pleased to announce a special full-day workshop Tuesday, March 5 in Bloomington: "Leading With Courage®."  The workshop will be facilitated by Lee Eisenstaedt of Chicago-based Leading with Courage Academy, and will be hosted by Normandale Community College in Bloomington MN.

This day-long, highly interactive leadership development workshop is designed to help leaders and managers at all levels make a bigger impact, sooner.  Based on Lee's Amazon best-selling book "Being A Leader With Courage," the participants will leave the session with practical tools and proven processes on topics including:

  • Delegation
  • Decision making
  • Active listening
  • Building a high-performing team

One of the hallmarks of the Leading With Courage®️ Academy's workshops is how attendees become more self-aware of their leadership strengths and blind spots.  This is done through the self-assessments completed during the programs on the areas above, plus others such as leadership, emotional intelligence, and tolerance for change.  Toward the end the workshop, and using the insights gained throughout the day, attendees will develop personal action plans of what they'll stop, start, and continue doing to improve their leadership effectiveness.  The goal is to have each participant to return to his/her office with ideas, tools, and a plan they can immediately put to use.

Past workshops have shown that the attendees who have more than five years of experience, are responsible for managing others, and are open to new ideas and perspectives will get the most out of the program.
