Achieving & Sustaining Excellence with PEN's New Baldrige Assessment Options -- Sept 11 St. Paul Breakfast & Livestream

Registration is closed for this event
The need to improve your organization’s performance has perhaps never been greater.  Today, customers expect more, competent workers are growing scarce, and competition is intensifying.  But – with the complexity of organizations – where does one start?  How do you know on which processes to focus?  And how to do you sustain the improvement over time?

The Performance Excellence Network is pleased to welcome Brian Lassiter, president of the Performance Excellence Network, to our Sept 11 St. Paul PEN breakfast discussion: “Achieving & Sustaining Excellence with PEN's New Baldrige Assessment Options.”

For 32 years, PEN has been helping leaders within organizations identify and prioritize improvement opportunities using a set of evidence-based, validated assessments based on the Baldrige Framework.  PEN is excited to announce two significant enhancements to its portfolio of assessment options: a new "tiered Award" structure for it's Performance Excellence Award and a new entry level assessment called First Step.  The tiered Award structure helps organizations take more gradual steps on the path to excellence, rather than having to jump in fully with a comprehensive Award evaluation, and First Step provides a quick, easy way to gauge an organization's strengths and opportunities.

Brian will explore the value of Baldrige as a management system (for helping any type and size organization optimize resources, accelerate improvement efforts, and improve outcomes), will share the new Award process and new First Step product (and everyone can take the First Step in the room -- bring your mobile device!).  He will be joined by a couple of leaders within PEN member organizations who are using Baldrige, who each will share the value they receive in using Baldrige as a management and improvement system.

The discussion is at Metro State University in the Student Center (details provided at registration). Continental breakfast will be served from 7:30 to 8:00 with the presentation from 8:00 to 9:00 am. No cost for members; $30 for non-members.

The discussion will also be made available to view through Facebook livestream (free for all PEN members) and/or video-on-demand ($20 members, $40 non-members; free for Premium/Sponsoring members).
