Increasing Resiliency Under Stress -- June 11 PEN Webinar

Registration is closed for this event
The current situation with COVID-19 has created sudden change, coupled with rising uncertainty and fear.  Change -- especially undesired change -- fear and uncertainty can tax the brain’s resources and trigger circuitry in the brain that reduces our ability to stay focused and maintain high levels of positive engagement.  These unprecedented levels of change and stress are impacting our personal and professional lives.

The Performance Excellence Network is pleased to host an online webinar discussion on Thursday, June 11: “Increasing Resiliency Under Stress.”  The discussion will be facilitated by Shannon Murphy Robinson, CEO of BrainSkills@Workan.

In this interactive discussion, you will learn how counter the effects of fear in the brain. You will be introduced to a neuroscience-based framework for learning to recognize and manage brain states. Specific tools and skills will be shared that are designed to help you quiet the fear circuitry in the brain, increase your resiliency, and enhance your ability to navigate the current situation more effectively and creatively.

We will all be dealing with constant (if not growing) levels of change and stress in the coming months.  Don’t miss this opportunity to explore how to increase your resilience and better navigate this crisis.  The discussion will be a live Zoom Webinar Thursday, June 11 from 8:00-9:00 CT.  Grab your coffee and breakfast, and join us for a rich discussion.  Free for PEN members; $20 for non-members.
