The Performance Excellence Network — in partnership with the St. Paul Area Chamber and the Wisconsin Center for Performance Excellence — is pleased to host an online webinar discussion on Thursday, February 9: “Improving Processes, Increasing Productivity.”
The discussion will kick off with Gary Floss, a retired senior leader with decades of experience leading improvement efforts at businesses such as Marvin Windows & Doors, Medtronic, and Control Data. Gary will provide an overview of different continuous improvement frameworks, methods, and tools currently being used by all sectors and industries. He will explore three categories of improvement tools: quality control, quality/continuous improvement, planning/innovation – a “menu” of process improvement tools in contemporary use today.
We will then hear a “case study” from Olmsted County, which is using a combination of tools for their continuous improvement approach.
After the two opening speakers, we will explore different improvement/productivity tools used by several types of organizations (specific speakers TBA):
The panel will share their insights on how to get started, what lessons they learned, and any tips or suggestions for improving processes, productivity and efficiency.
This session is Thursday, February 9 from 8:00-9:00 CT (optional networking and mingling 7:45-8:00) using Zoom MEETING. Grab your coffee and breakfast, and join us for a rich discussion. Free for PEN/SPAC/WCPE members; $20 for non-members.
