Leadership is a Conversation -- Feb 20 PEN Webinar

Amazingly, 68% of leaders are afraid to communicate to their teams. And, since so much of our leadership spans from our staff and employees to our customers and stakeholders, we as leaders are required to be skillful at ensuring people love working in our communities.

The Performance Excellence Network — in partnership with the Wisconsin Center for Performance Excellence and the Iowa Quality Center and in cooperation with the Greater Rochester NY Quality Council — is pleased to host an online webinar discussion on Thursday, February 20: “Leadership is a Conversation.”  The discussion will feature Tammy Krings of The Conversations that Matter.

During this discussion, you will learn how to:

  1. Leverage the Four Elements of Organizational Conversation: intimacy, interactivity, inclusion, and intentionality, and learn how these elements integrate to form a cohesive leadership strategy.
  2. Build Trust and Authenticity: Discover how conversational intimacy can bridge gaps between leaders and employees, fostering a culture of trust and mutual respect.
  3. Empower Dialogue: Learn practical techniques for promoting two-way communication, ensuring that all voices are heard and valued, and leveraging technology to facilitate open dialogue.
  4. Have Strategic Alignment through Conversation: Explore how intentionality in communication aligns organizational goals with everyday conversations, driving strategic success from the ground up.

You will leave with practical next steps to help you be the leader your people love following -- because the very best leaders inspire, engage and are in conversation with their people and know that every moment matters.

This session is Thursday, Feb 20 from 8:00-9:00 CT (optional networking and mingling 7:45-8:00) using Zoom MEETING. Grab your coffee and breakfast, and join us for a rich discussion. Free for PEN/WCPE members; $20 for non-members.

Can’t make it live but interested in the content? Register anyway: all registered attendees get a link to the recording after the session!
