Communication, Personal Productivity, Team Engagement: Speed Sharing — Sept 17 IN-PERSON Twin Ports PEN Discussion

The Performance Excellence Network is pleased to host an IN PERSON discussion on Wednesday, September 17 from 8:00-9:00 at the Benedictine Living Community of Duluth: “Communication, Personal Productivity, Team Engagement.”  This will be a “speakerless” discussion that consists of three “speed sharing lightening rounds” of self-moderated sharing and learning from each other!  Not only is a great way to learn from each other, but it’s a great way to meet others interested in improvement/excellence and network!

The three topics were carefully selected using feedback from the last several months’ PEN webinar surveys.  They are the three most often mentioned challenges that we all face:

1. Communication — ways to communicate with and engage the workforce; techniques for communicating through different modalities (in person, online, etc.) and with different stakeholder groups; best practices in communicating within projects or with external partners.
2. Personal Productivity — tools, tips, technology (including AI!) to improve personal and organizational productivity; time management; reducing inefficiency and waste.
3. Team Engagement & Culture — managing change, reducing workplace conflict, reducing stress/burnout, increasing team engagement.

PEN will provide a simple process to help facilitate the dialogue, but largely the session will be organic, allowing participants to contribute and connect in whatever way is meaningful to them.  Each discussion topic will last approximately 13-15 minutes, providing an opportunity to learn from others in and outside your industry.

The discussion will provide an opportunity for sharing, learning, networking (and all-important professional connection).

This session is Wednesday, Sept 17 from 8:00-9:00 AM at Benedictine Living Community in Duluth.  Arrive, network, mingle (yes, you asked for it — you have in person networking!) from 7:30-8:00 (light snacks provided); discussion 8:00-9:00.  Free for PEN members; $20 for non-members.
