Lean 101 for Public Sector: Practical Skills for Real Change in Public Service -- Mar 3 IN PERSON Workshop

Lean 101 for Public Sector: Practical Skills for Real Change in Public Service -- Mar 3 IN PERSON Workshop

Registration is closed for this event
Public agencies are being asked to deliver more than ever with the same resources or fewer. The work is complex, expectations keep rising, and teams feel the strain in their daily processes: bottlenecks that no one has time to fix, systems that don’t match the reality on the ground, and constant pressure to meet service demands anyway. Real change starts with building capacity inside the organization: equipping staff with the skills, tools, and practical change strategies to improve their work and help others adopt those improvements sustainably.

The  Performance Excellence Network — in partnership with the Wisconsin Center for Performance Excellence and the Iowa Quality Center — is pleased to host a special in person workshop: “Lean 101 for Public Sector: Practical Skills for Real Change in Public Service.”  The session is Tuesday, March 3 from 8:30-3:00 and will be facilitated by Justine Hinderliter and Ryan Hunter of Partners in Public Innovation, hosted in the Twin Cities, location TBD.

This is a one-day, highly interactive introduction to Lean methodology and tools that public sector leaders and professionals can use to rapidly improve the work you do every day, specifically tailored to the government employee. Every attendee is expected to complete one small improvement (a “just do it”) to their work to complete this training -- and you'll have the process and tools to do so!
