An Update on DMC -- Jan 7 Rochester Breakfast

Destination Medical Center is the largest economic development initiative in the state of Minnesota's history. The legislation was passed in 2013 -- so where is Rochester today? Jamie Roth, DMC director of community engagement and experience will share more about the recent projects and what's to come for Rochester.

One of DMC of the DMC anchors, One Discovery Square, is Rochester's healthcare innovation campus, is set out to be the social crossroads of Rochester's medical, research, and entrepreneurial communities.  Through a unique process combining design, site management, and event planning led by The Musicant Group, One Discovery Square fosters new relationships, innovations, and enterprises through dynamic common areas that host several events a week for its tenants and the broader public. 

Meghann Southwick, Community Event Manager, will offer insight into the happenings and opportunities inside One Discovery Square, the building's composition and unique mission, and what the future holds.

In addition to hearing from Jamie and Meghann, Eric Anderson, a local and international artist, will join the conversation to share his role and the impact DMC has had for him personally and professionally. 

The discussion is at One Discovery Square (note location difference from normal meetings!).  Continental breakfast will be served from 7:15 to 7:45 with announcements at 7:45 and the presentation from 8:00 to 9:00 am.  No cost for members; $30 for non-members.
