Leading High Velocity Projects -- October 8 Online Workshop

Registration is closed for this event
In today's environment, circumstances are changing rapidly: organizations are forced to shift operations, products/services, and policies more frequently and more quickly due to the pandemic.  But even before (or completely unrelated to) COVID-19, organizations were facing accelerating product cycles, rapidly changing market and competitive conditions, and increasing speed of information.  So in many ways, the speed of business continues to accelerate, compelling leaders and professionals to adapt, adjust, and execute their plans with increasing speed.

The Performance Excellence Network -- in partnership with the Southwest Alliance for Excellence -- is pleased to announce a special half-day workshop the morning of October 8: “Leading High Velocity Projects.”  The workshop will be facilitated by Charles Liedtke of Strategic Improvement Systems LLC. The online workshop will be highly interactive using Zoom Meetings.

High Velocity Projects (sometimes called Rapid Action Projects) are launched and executed when speed is critical and the conditions are appropriate -- without sacrificing safety and quality.  Dr. Kaoru Ishikawa, one of the fathers of modern-day quality, said it is important to “Determine how to proceed quickly with caution.” The different types of High Velocity Projects include rapid discovery, rapid design, rapid standardization, rapid lean, and rapid improvement. There are various tool used in industry for High Velocity Projects, such as workouts, rapid responses, strategy jam sessions, scrum sessions, and kaizen blitzes. Participants will learn 1) about the various High Velocity Project approaches/tools, and 2) how to apply the necessary concepts, methods, techniques, and tools for success.

Workshop October 8 from 9:00-12:00 CT online.  Investment $200 for members ($175 for groups of 3-4 registering together, $150 for groups of 5+ registering together), $400 for non-members.

Regardless of what improvement method(s) -- or what strategic planning process -- your organization uses, this workshop will help you increase the speed of planning and implementation.  And in today's environment, agility & speed are critical.
