Leading in the New Work Environment -- July 14 Twin Cities Breakfast & Webinar

Registration is closed for this event
The last 2.5 years have inspired -- or at least required -- pretty significant changes to how and where work gets done: organizations have had to consider hybrid and adapted work environments, changes to leadership approaches, new ways to communicate with their teams, and certainly new or different methods for recruiting and staffing.  It may still be too early to declare any validated "best practices," but there are certainly emerging solid practices to managing & engaging the workforce.

The Performance Excellence Network — in partnership with the St. Paul Area Chamber and the Wisconsin Center for Performance Excellence — is pleased to host a hybrid discussion Thursday, July 14: “Leading in the New Work Environment."  The discussion will be hosted at the Shoreview Community Center and streamed throughout the region.

This discussion will feature a panel that features perspectives from several sectors/industries -- business, healthcare, local government:

  • Jennifer Byers, director, Minnesota Chamber of Commerce
  • Carlee Diggins, Deloitte, and chair, Minnesota OD Network
  • Julie Ring, Executive Director, Association of Minnesota Counties
  • TBD, LeadingAge Minnesota

The panel will focus on topics such as, changes and emerging best practices in:

  • Leadership systems, including communication and maintaining accountability
  • Work environment, including managing hybrid and remote teams
  • Recruiting, hiring, staffing
  • Maintaining workforce culture, engagement, and resilience

This session is Thursday, July 14 from 8:00-9:00 CT (optional networking and mingling 7:45-8:00, both online and in the room).  In person location: Shoreview Community Center, 4580 Victoria St N, Shoreview MN 55126.  Online link provided at registration.  Free for PEN/WCPE members; $20 for non-members (both online or in person).
